GOLF CONECTA

story

Golf Conecta” was created in 2006 based in Paris France to connect people, institutions and brands through “Culture Sports Vintage” (C.S.V.)

C.S.V. with domicile at Richard SE, 80 avenue Victor Hugo, 75116 Paris France. The team composed of all business students in highly ranked educational institutions like “Essec Business School” and “HEC Paris”, and actively in other similar associations like Essec Golf Club, Luxury Brands Club, Tourism Club…

As “Culture Sports Vintage (C.S.V.)” tells by itself, the focus was to enhance the value of culture and sports by creating events in these areas or by supporting events of other associations and/or institutions.

Regarding sports, the focus was with golf, tennis and polo.

The team centralized efforts in organizing golf competitions, informal summer golf rounds and golf lessons.

The golf competitions organized by “Culture Sports Vintage” had the objective to bring together cultures from all over the world. The founders created unique brands like the “Ambassadors Golf Cup,” “Golf Vintage,” “Travel Golf World Cup,” and partnered with the headquarters of UNESCO, OECD, Embassies and Consulates in Paris.

The “Ambassadors Golf Cup” consisted in a private golf competition “by invitation only” where diplomats from UNESCO, OECD, Embassies and Consulates played in Paris 18 holes followed by cultural activities like paintings exhibitions, cultural fashion shows, cocktails and mariachis.  Some of the venues for several times were “Golf de Bethemont” and “Paris Golf Country Club” with the honored presence of diplomats from different countries like Dr. Musa Bin Jaafar Bin HASSAN Ambassador of Sultanat of Oman, Carlos Bonilla Ambassador of Costa Rica, Heny Faarup Ambassador of Panama in France-Monaco-&-Lichtenstein, José Poblano OECD Diplomat for Mexico in Paris, and the list goes on with diplomats from more countries like Argentina, Nicaragua, Switzerland, USA, Africa…

The golf lessons were organized in different golf clubs for groups of 4 to 10 people, given by professional golf instructors and followed by cocktails at the Club House of the golf club. Lessons were mainly organized at the “Paris Golf Country Club,” and “Golf de Vaucresson.”

Informal summer rounds of golf taking place in Golf de Bethemont, Golf de Rochefort, Golf National, Golf de la Boulie, Golf de Fountainbleau, Paris International Golf Club (PIGC), Golf de Montecarlo in Monaco, Royal Mougins Golf Club in Cannes and in ultra private golf club “Golf de Morfontaine” thanks to Ambassador Henry FAARUP Ambassador of Panama in France, Monaco and Liechtenstein.

C.S.V. also invited students and alumni from the highest ranked european educational institutions such as ENA, INSEAD, HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, SCIENCES PO, POLYTECHNIC, CENTRAL, MINES…

Ministries of Foreign Affairs were also part of the success of the activities. Several golf competitions were organized in other countries like in Mexico, where Mexican ex President Enrique Peña Nieto supported the Ambassadors Golf Cup Mexican edition by sending the invitation to the diplomats of each Embassy in Mexico. During this event, the benefits of the golf competition where donated to the Mexican Red Cross.

In reality, the organization of all these activities not only takes time but it also takes to be in a position of service as all these are non-profitable activities.  The success of all these activities is thanks to the financial support by sponsors, by participating fees by members and by service provided by the founders and by temporary teams that make all this happen.

Among the highest satisfactions for every body here is to play some of the most beautiful golf courses of the world, to live amazing experiences of life style, to learn other cultures, to meet international minded people, to make good friends, to build relationships and eventually for sponsors to build loyalty in their teams, in their customer base and to expand the potential contacts for business.

Some of the brands that have supported our events are LVMH, Terrazas de los Andes, Tifanny, Private Jets Airlines, Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s, Le Petit Palais, LaCoste, BMW, Airfrance, Audi, Villa San Román, Club de Golf Amanali, Whisky Glenmorongie, Moët & Chandon, Hennessy, Scotiabank, Montblanc, Club Car, Devlyn, Restaurante La Antigua…

To continue with the satisfaction of this project, all countries are welcome for the globalization of the promotion of golf, of sports and culture.

Today, through certain international agreements and independent actors, the project expands to more than 30 countries, more than 500 golf clubs, more than 10,000 members, high lighting a partnership with the Amateur Golf World Cup having previously participated in the world final in New Caledonia and in Santi Petri Cadiz Spain before the covid pandemia.

The focus for the following 5 years is 30 countries with golf, culture & life style as main ingredients with independent partnered activities in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico, France, Monaco, Italy, the United States of America and many other countries of the world.

Our values are integrity, honesty, discretion and long term relationships.

Welcome to continue writing the history of wonderful experiences.
